This cassette was out in Agorafobia Tapes (#32)as a split from the Bjerga / Iversen collaborative along ZN.

Bjerga / Iversen (from Norway) are duo I came across thanks to their annual collaboration program during 2013... each growing in me more and more each release. I have come to know about them and Sindre Bjerga (A Vibrant Struggle, Bjerga / Iversen, Droneskvadronen All-Stars, Electric Mono River, Electric Omen, Fibo-Trespo, Jabber Garland, Kjertl Del Brondo Group, Larraskito Audio Dissection Unit, Magnetic North Duo, The, Mallucoch Quartet, Nederlaget, Star Turbine ) and Jan-Morten Iversen ( A Vibrant Struggle, Adults With Chicks, Ambience-Collective Of Norway, The, Bjerga / Iversen, Droneskvadronen All-Stars, Koff Kirk, Kredi Dubi, Larraskito Audio Dissection Unit, Lydhode, Mallucoch Quartet, Remix-Collective Of Norway, The, Rust & Rot, Scullfaced Moon, Sound_00 / Iversen, T.I.B., Wjiik/Iversen ) make together some of the best noise / drone this side of the second decade of the 2000's. Both tracks of their part of the split are made from one live and one studio outing exclusively for this release. The sounds here evolve from submerged explorations to a high level ecstasy noise. Is hard to classify this as pure noise, since the drone and improvisation elements are present giving it a sense of history....sometimes not far removed from Hugh Davies as it is from early Throbbing Gristle ancient industrial dark void. This manages to contain the tension and the expectation of the horrors to come. At the same time it can be clear and fearless, and full of life affirming joy....as always with this duet, nothing you can miss.
ZN side comprises a collection of live improvisations non sense recording straight to tape in the usual sewer mood. Nasty impro-noise madness and some crude and drunk avant-gardism .

ZN is the collaboration from Miguel Pérez (Wehrmacht Lombardo, La Mancha Del Pecado, the Skull Mask, Will Of Nin Girima, etc) and Gerardo "Picho" (Colectivo San Miguelito and Colectivo N) . Using everything from junk, digital synths, bass, guitar, trumpet, junk, feedback, effects, acoustic guitars create atmospheres from no pre-thinking before hand or any composition. All improvised and from the moment. Ciudad Juárez, México improvised scum toilet jazz noise punk and more....Olde Sharkey (Alberto) voice and laughs graces the last track. He invited some beers and named the track. So THANKS for alcoholic inspiration!
